Heartfullness Tips

Heartfulness Meditation today:

1. Set aside 20 minutes for your “heart time.” If possible, always meditate at the same time, in the same place, to keep your practice consistent and create a calm space that you can return to each day.

2. Sit comfortably with your hands and legs drawn in and relaxed. No need to hold your hands or limbs in an awkward position—just focus on feeling peaceful and loose. Let your arms rest and land wherever is most comfortable.

3. Take a moment to tune into your heart. Imagine that there is a light filling it and expanding to capture your attention. As you focus on the subtle idea of lightness in your heart, you will begin to feel a vibration and energy descending into you. 4. As your mind wanders, gently return to this focus of light in the heart. Thoughts that arise will naturally fall away and not trouble you after some time of practice.

5. Upon completion of your meditation, take some time to reflect on the practice. Write a short journal entry, even just one sentence on your experience. As you move through your day (and continued practice), you will find yourself returning to your heart.

All students teacher obeying the activities, all are enjoying the program.. Heartfullness program is related mind.

Heartfullness meditation

What is Heartfulness meditation and why concentrate on the heart ?

The Heartfulness Meditation is fine blend of science and spirituality and it fills the practitioner, known as “Abhyasi” in their parlance with instant energy. This energy dissipates to mind for healthy and balanced approach to all aspects of life. But it needs practice and nothing could be accomplished in a short span. 2 / 20 What is the philosophy behind Heartfulness?

The heart is pumping station of the blood and it supplies purified blood to all body cells, so the system takes heart as center of concentration. “This ways, we can set our individual mind on the right path. The heart is the only point at which the connecting link between the animate and the inanimate is clearly felt”. It is the field of action of our mind. The heart is where from the current flows on, either upwards/downwards. Our heart is our laboratory. 3 / 20 How is it better than other meditation practices?

The experience of Heartfulness can only give you the taste, but for that you have to cut your teeth into it once. You can do meditation without guided instructions and with it, and the difference will be “palpable” . “As Heartfulness is triggered and sustained by a subtle transmission, “Pranahuti” from a energy source in the universe. You may call it by any name, you may say the divine source. The trainer allows that transmission to flow through the channel.

Heartfullness programme

Heartfulness video conference conducted in our college…. This is program very wonderful… My mind is peacefulness… I like this program

*I hope I can offer a bit of insight on this. I have been practicing what is now called Heartfulness for a very long while – about forty two years. It is not a religion but a practice that has transcended all barriers of culture, religion and spiritual paths bringing together people from around the world. History The history goes back to the latter part of the 1800’s. A boy named Ram Chandra had a complete awakening at an early age. He discovered what he called the Center or cause of all creation. Being connected with that, he understood that he could transmit the essence or subtlest divine energy from the Center to the heart of a person. Through this process they would themselves become awakened – not through a belief or religion but by direct experience. Later in life he was known as Lalaji. He had a small group of followers, maybe around 200. He never set himself up as a Master at all. People discovered that when they were in his presence they would become transformed – with no effort on their part. He passed in 1935 and named someone to succeed him in this work of transformation, for that is what it was. His successor was Babuji. He was a remarkable person, one who I got to meet on a couple of occasions. He simplified the practice of meditation on the heart so that the average person leading a busy life in todays world could have this same benefit – just by bringing the practice of meditation on the heart into their daily routine. It was Babuji who gave this method the name of Sahaj Marg or Natural Path. In 1983 Babuji passed after having done his part to bring this to a broader audience. He was succeeded by Parthasarthi, who was my own guide for many decades. The awareness of the practice grew organically around the world as there was no proselytizing or effort to promote it. People seemed to show up as they were ready for it. It became a silent movement of sorts. Parthasarthi passed in 2014. His successor is known as Daaji, someone I have known personally for over 30 years. He is a spiritual scientist by nature and is bringing to light further discoveries in this practice of awakening. He lived in the US in the New Jersey area for most of his life. All the Masters were married and had families. They believed the best place to grow spiritually is right where you are. Intention In order to make this wonderful experience available to the biggest audience the name Heartfulness was taken up, which could be easily understood by all. It was Babuji’s intention that by having a succession of spiritual guides the practice would not become a religion where people focused on a figure of the past and where the teachings would become fixed or solidified. Even more evolutionary was that he created trainers – average everyday people who he entrusted to also introduce people to the transmission. He wanted this to evolve – to always meet the needs of present day society. Babuji said, “Spirituality can’t be sold.” This method is always free. It is taught through a community of volunteers who are seekers the same as anyone else. They dedicate much time and effort to sit and meditate with anyone who wants to experience the method – the reason is that they know the benefit and want to share it with anyone interested. Method The two unique aspects are cleaning of past impressions (all the deep tendencies we accumulate) and transmission of the prana, which grows our individual consciousness in a natural way and returns the mind to its original simple, pure and effective state. We meditate on the heart with the simple idea that the source of light that is already present there is attracting us from within. If thoughts come, simply return to this idea. That is all there is to the morning meditation, as you do it on your own. There is a simple practice called cleaning to be done in the evening. Why it can help- Why the Heart? The reasons are simple, all our mental activity is in our head.

Heartfullness

*It is a well-known saying that “Our Children are our Future”. These children, under the current system of school education, are largely being nourished by their lecturers. The result-oriented, examination based education system puts a lot of pressure on students to focus only on academic results, leading to a stressful life.* While students develop well and become subject-matter experts, most of them lack the basic life skills. There is little time to focus on values and morals. A slow downfall in the moral standards of today’s youth is quite visible in our current society.
